RIchard Britten
Bladerunner 2049. Amazing, beautiful and atmospheric. My fears from the trailer were put to bed early on in the film.

No don't say, don't want to spoil it.

quilp
The Martian. While not being out-of-this-world, overlong and short on atmosphere, it was ok. There.
RIchard Britten
Wonder Woman. Over hyped, lazy and boring. It does nothing to break the DC strangle hold on naff superhero films. And before anyone gets on their high horse about "only disliking it because I'm a man and the lead was a strong woman", I though GG did an alright job given the drivel she had to speak and the film going on around her. TheTeapot
Watched Predator the other night for the first time in 20 odd years. It's still ace.
mojomonkey
Watched Baby Driver the other day. I really enjoyed it and thought the use of music was very clever.

Bobbie Bobster
Star Wars VIII A lot better than 7, including a not-rehashed plot, brooding Mark Hamill, great fight choreography, no versions of any Death Stars and a comic ginger villain. Some plot holes though, including how does Benicio Del Toro know about the cloaked ships?

I appreciate it may have helped to have seen all the others but I hadn't got a clue as to what the film was about before during or after . I think the "goodies" , the few who were left, lived to fight another day but I could be completely wrong.
