Yeah, brilliant Ray, that really is ace.

If he's giving it away give Kym a shout, it'd save him a few quids.

In other news, my Ratchet and Clank came on friday, our set-up is about a week away yet though

Compressed Video files. Similar to how MP3s are compressed music files.

I'm not too up to speed on it all, but most of the videos I obtain (from my corrupt uncle) are Xvids, which are I think are different. Backward names confuse me, but Xvid compatibility would sell me on any of the new consoles.

Xvid is open source divx, they're interchangable largely, all of your xvids should work. The only stickler might be sound, most divx/xvid are mp3 so they'll be fine, but ac3 won't work.

So what were first impressions, is it as good as it looks?

I'm still to setup my US account to get the demo - but some good reviews of UDF coming in:

IGN 9.1 - Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is the most fun I've had in a videogame this year. Say what you will about the PS3, but Uncharted isn't just a standout for Sony -- it's a standout for gaming as a whole.

EDIT:

Eurogamer 9.0 - Truly, Uncharted is the first game I've seen to date that makes me wonder if it could be done on the Xbox 360, and as a huge admirer of the software line-up on Microsoft's system, that's saying a lot.
