Stavros
Looks as if there has been a collision in Liverpool Bay! (Manx Radio Newsflash) Anyone know whats going on? Last Ten There has been a collision and damage has been caused to both ships but the Seacat has returned to Liverpool docks safely and all passengers are said to be alright. They were issued with life vests but they are currently collecting these back of the passengers and now they are all being taken off the boat. Stav. TerryMcCann
Watching the footy on Sky it is rather foggy at Anfield. I'm guessing a fog bound Mersey is the cause
BarbaraG
The boat crashed into another one at the bar. It wasn't going very fast thatnk goodness. The boat was towed back by tugs. The passengers won't get their cars off as both doors are buckled. The boat is now sinking along side the landing stage with all cars on board. All passengers are off. BarbaraG
My hisband says she may not sink if they get her across the river in time. She's sinking, but not sunk yet. It depends whether the weight of the cars drag her down quicker.

manxmaid
It has just been announced on Smooth FM as breaking news........ 294 passengers on board apparently.... no one hurt thankfully. No mention of it sinking either, but If you look on the AIS thingy it shows 3 tugs alongside the Seacat,,, http://www.aisliverpool.org.uk/showship.php?mmsi=234481000
iom_cb
1pm news on Manx Radio said it is listing about 20% into the water to the rear of the vessel. I know nothing of vessels but i was always under the impression that these kind of rear-loading vessels don't fair well once water gets into the car decks. surprised this hasn't made the national news stations yet.
