Max Power Posted February 19, 2007 Share Posted February 19, 2007 Dummies like Max Power who think there is no history or culture here beyond motorsport are truely "Resident". The TT is a glorious institution and hats off to the Manx (born or naturalized) people who are doing their best for it. The TT and MGP are unique and there is nothing quite like it anywhere else. Some of the other motorsports that the government attract are pointless. For example, racing powerboats through basking shark and marine mammal environments. Well, i don't think I said that there is no culture, if I did I meant that there is precious little in our history or culture that is original, unique and remarkable! I agree that some sports are a little pointless, and this has to be considered. If I'm wrong tell me, give me a list of truly unique achievements and historical facts, but don't resort to calling me a dummy, because I can assure you that I am far from it!!
