The incinerator cost the tax payer over £55 million and the Government have now sold it to the IOM Bank for £45 million, a loss of £10 million in taxpayers money. The Government have now decided to lease it back from the Bank over 25 years, how much will this cost us now. The bank will have to charge at least 3% per year interest on the lease = a lot more £millions lost, add this to the increased cost of the land fill site.
