joeyconcrete Posted April 14, 2007 Share Posted April 14, 2007 Bought the eventual follow up to Operation Flashpoint, but haven't had a good chance to try it yet I used to love Operation Flashpoint (and the expansion) - even though it was a laggy, buggy pile of crap at times. It had great potential, but it ran like a beast and had its fair share of bugs. I was tempted to buy ARMA (the succesor) but it seems it's a bit of a a mixed bag. Some sites/reviewers are giving it 8/9 out of 10 - while others are calling it a pile of Beta shit and its scraping 60%. Judging what OFP was like, I'd guess ARMA is buggy, slow and a bit rubbish - a few patch releases later it will improve.
