Albert Tatlock
I hope this vessel has been searched for hidden frenchies...I'm not really looking forward to frog-legs' and snails' baps. There again, I might just ask 'have you got frogs-legs?' and if the answer is 'yes' - tell them to 'hop' into the kitchen and make me a proper English breakfast. AlexMcC
They do belch black smoke generally I believe - there was an explanation for this on here I believe. Funny seeing the Emeraude logo again - I was so used to seeing it in Guernsey a decade ago. Emeraude as a company are gone now... destroyed by competition and no ship! As for the smoke, I imagine it's beacuse she hasn't seen much action in a few years, she left the harbour to let SSC2 in.
Pat Ayres
I used to be able to get the same effect on the old Mercedes lorries if I used the exhaust brake at the same time as full throttle. Great fun when being tailgated by a soft top. How many trees would it take to equalise that emission of Co2?

That proves 1. That you are a gag historian archeologist. 2. That you must be a very rich man.
