Lonan3
THE FIRES OF HELL ARE REAL! Hell is a place where sinners really do burn in an everlasting fire, and not just a religious symbol designed to galvanise the faithful, the Pope has said. Addressing a parish gathering in a northern suburb of Rome, Benedict XVI said that in the modern world many people, including some believers, had forgotten that if they failed to “admit blame and promise to sin no more”, they risked “eternal damnation — the Inferno”. Hell “really exists and is eternal, even if nobody talks about it much any more”, he said. Isn't it nice to have such a modern, forward-looking religious leader to guide so many millions of people? Bombay Bad Boy
The Pope also once said "hell was not a place, but a state of being"
Lonan3
The Pope also once said "hell was not a place, but a state of being" Perhaps they edited the word 'fried' from the end of that quote?

ynsheltyn
I side with the Commies of 1918, and also with Sir Elton who said "religion lacks compassion and turns people into 'hateful lemmings'." Religion has caused more death, destruction, torture and oppression than anything else on this planet. It's an outdated concept. Wait for it.....
