Donk
The Mini driver's got both hands on the wheel, TOG is correct. Edit: The Mini driver's got a hand on the wheel and one on the gearstick. She must have three hands then. Quite obviously she has her right hand holding a mobile to her right ear. Click on the picture to enlarge it if you can't see. No, she's holding a phone to her ear. It does look a bit like her hair but if you zoom in you can see its her hand cupping a phone.
Nitro
that mini looks like a black phone and her hand by her head? unless its the light and her hair is just darker?
sarahc
The black thing is the headrest, and the lighter colour I think is the light shining through the gap between the headrest and the seat. I've held my laptop right up close to check! (it's not me!)

sarahc
I'm sure her arm is down, that's what is swinging it for me. What was Amadeus doing taking pictures of girls in cars for anyway? "It's for crime prevention, honest, Officer..."

Celt
The worst thing is people pulling up abruptly to answer their phones Whilst i understand very much were you're coming from. you still, by the Highway Code, should be enough cars distance behind to stop in time. Maybe you should look at your own driving, but then you're not the only one.
Amadeus
I'm sure her arm is down, that's what is swinging it for me. What was Amadeus doing taking pictures of girls in cars for anyway? "It's for crime prevention, honest, Officer..." Oh dear, what have I done.. It was only meant as a couple of example pics, to show that loads of people are still using their phones while driving, that's all - and she's definitely on the phone:
Celt
and one on the gearstick. That means she has no hands on the wheel then ? WTF

The Old Git
and she's definitely on the phone: I still can't see it, it must be one of those "is it two faces or a vase" type things Which or her hands is holding the phone?
xbones
At first it looked like she was on the phone but after a better look, I agree she isn't, the angle of the arm i towards the wheel. And her hair shape looks like a hand.
Lonan3
Since Amadeus has been taking an interest in this thread, can we expect SID (Safer Island Driving) to launch a campaign on the subject in the same way that it did about speed limits? ans
Not much chance of that, there's no thrill in driving with a phone.
