thebees
Its a wonderful thing the camera obscura, shame the 'up their own arses' Victorian society had to be the ones to fix and maitain it.
sarahc
MNH only wanted it if they could build an 'interpretation centre' nearby! I think MNH won the up their arse prize that day.
VinnieK
What is an 'interpretation centre'? It sounds like a prison for I.A. Richards.
Albert Tatlock
Its a wonderful thing the camera obscura, shame the 'up their own arses' Victorian society had to be the ones to fix and maitain it. Perhaps they were attracted by the 'pricks required to keep everyone in the dark' angle - no...sorry I was confusing that with a LegCo advert. That said, I'm sure many of us appreciate these people running it. With entry fees being only a couple of quid and only around 4000 visitors - it is obviously a labour of love. Details. Lonan3
For those taking youngsters there for a visit, be sure to give them a piece of white card. It adds to the fun when they use it to 'pick up' people/vehicles etc who are passing by outside.
