Lonan3
I remember a relative of mine - Bernie Mylcraine - restoring the water wheel at Glen Mooar Mills and using it to power his workshop and home. There was something fascinating about watching it and I always enjoyed visiting Uncle Bernie and Auntie Joyce when I was a kid (although that may also have had something to do with the fact that they had huge bushes of wild gooseberries, that Joyce filled the table until it groaned with wonderful cakes and pies, and that it was a pretty good place to watch the TT races!)
