Lost - Motorbike Pannier

Help please - a friend of mine drove from Port Erin to Sulby yesterday, early evening, with both panniers firmly attached (or so he thought!) to his bike.

 

The off-side one went missing on the journey up North.

 

It's quite an old style, Honda branded, black with a grey side.

 

Not worth much but had two things of sentimental value in it.

 

He's actually more concerned that it caused damage to people or property when it came off.
