copycat
In this week-ends FT in the supplement FT REPORT - HOUSE AND HOME: 'Being wealthy can create its own problems' By Mark Anstead There is an interview with Gerry Williams, the chief executive of The Bachmann Group. That's a privately owned fiduciary trust and wealth management business He lives in Guernsey with his wife and works between offices there and in London, Switzerland and New Zealand. Q. What was it like moving to the Isle of Man after the Bahamas? A.In the Bahamas...pinks and blues. When I got to the Isle of Man in 1991 it was all a bit dour. Q.I've heard it said the Isle of Man can feel slightly backwards. A.It gives that impression... Seems like the IOM Govt 'PR machine' has had FT journalists over but obviously hasn't sucked up enought to them...don't they realise major sucking is whats needed cos if you don't do the required amount of sucking thats a big mistake, big mistake. (reminds me of a scene from a film but can't remember which)..whatever hopefully someone will get the message and invite the FT to send a some of its Journalists over paid for jointly by DTL or DTI.
