Local Independent company Triskel Promotions Ltd have scooped one of the concerts of the year by securing through The Agency Group, none other than the Legend BRIAN WILSON. A summer date of Friday 6 July will see Wilson and a 10 piece band including some "very special guests" play the prestigious Royal Hall in Douglas Isle of Man. Triskel is celebrating 5 years in the business professionally though have been arranging concerts locally as far back as 1988. Brian Wilson's tour is unique in itself with a handful of dates around Europe culminating in this intimate show a 1300 capacity venue before headlining T-in-the-Park in front of 170,000 and then leaving for Ireland to play Oxegen with an equally large crowd. Triskel's Managing Director has said "Whilst we have remained faithfully a wholly independent outfit not relying on outside sponsors or benefactors, the love for live music far outweighs any desire to benefit financially and so it is with pride we are able to announce such a fantastic scoop as this. We are in no doubt that his entire tour party will have a memorable Manx welcome and we hope to be adopted as his potential 3rd home from home!"

Triskel have secured an interesting line up of artistes over the years ranging from Deacon Blue, The Proclaimers, John Otway, Hayseed Dixie and Katie Melua to name a few. They have another scoop to announce once the furore of this event dies down by announcing another fabulous name playing a special show in December.
