The Bastard
On the "miss Isle of Man" theme, has anyone got Tomtom navigation maps that include the IOM ? I've got the Western Europe maps version 6.60 & somehow the Isle of Mull has extensive coverage while the IOM seems to consist of a dot called "Douglas". Whilst it's probably a fair summary of the island, I'm curious to know if anyone's got later maps that include the full 1950's-greyness of the island. Not all that useful on a rock with few points of interest, I know, but maybe you could adopt the reverse approach & mark "points of no interest". Maps ? mbx
TomTom on a PDA doesn't have the IOM, but anything that uses a NavTeq map will, like Destinator. Also, I was in London last week on a course. There were guys from Zurich,Luxembourg,Cyprus,Saudi and Finland on the course. I went to Google maps to show them where the Island was, and sure enough was greeted with the "grey blob of doom". "Don't you have any roads?" they asked sigh
