The steam packet has just released a statement regarding this:

"The Steam Packet can confirm that one of our vessels has indeed been lost in the space time continuum and as a result is due to arrive, on time and as advertised, on May 21st at 17:00. The Steam Packet can also confirm that this was not any fault of their own, and was due to a stray Lepricorn, which had escaped from Stenna Lines terminal causing an influx in the Irish Sea resulting in the displacement of time. The Lepricorn was aided and abeited by Steam Packet customers who believed that the Lepricorn would help them get to the Island on time and as advertisied. However, the Lepricorn lead them instead to giant pots of gold which has resulted in the loss of time.

The Steam Packet cannot be held responsible for any vessel which arrives or departs either on time or not on time, for services that are changed, amended, removed, replaced or never existed. The Steam Packet also does not guarantee that any or all of it's services will sail, and that indeed it cannot provide assurances that it is actually a ferry company."

You have clearly read the IOMSPCo T&C's very thoroughly. That is the most masterful precis of their legal effect

Just been down to see sibling off and the Emeraude "has gone tits-up" according to what came out of the Port Security officers radio - some sort of technical term I guess - so the other seacat had to be moved over to do a replacement sailing.

They must be scraping the barrel if they are having to use sails to keep the Ben up to speed!
