ai_Droid
It would seem the new barriers are doing their job though, lots of crashes reported but thankfully few serious injuries.
Lost Login
I hope that is the case as the incidents of fatalities and serious injuries do appear down this year and I hope it stays that way. If it is and it is doen to the new "air" barriers rather than the old straw bales which really were pretty solid in themselves then I would hope next year that the organisers and government put their hand in their pockets and make sure they replace all the straw bales. I have freely admitted I am not a huge fan of the races themselves but if they are to be run then I think that they must be made as safe as possible and safety should nt be a cost issue! It would seem the new barriers are doing their job though, lots of crashes reported but thankfully few serious injuries.
localyokel
It seems the casualty stats are creeping up..... Just because there have been few radio reports of accidents does not necessarily mean there have been few accidents.
