IOM Online says:

"The first laser show is at 10pm and is designed for families with children.

A second, very different, show will take place at 11pm."

Anyone got any clue what that's all about?

Looks like it's going to be a good one, purple helmets, steve colley, backdoor slam and a laser show, all free.

Is it just me but does anyone else wonder why Steve Colley appears every year?? He's a very skilful rider and a local lad to boot, but it's just the same sort of stuff every year. Let's see something different. Having said that, you could probably say that about the purple helmets, but at least they're funny - well they give me a chuckle anyway. Good to see BDS playing though - great talent, as seen at the Peel tent.

Perhaps they're going to flash up some porn over Onchan head or on the big screens or something???....

Bah - really want to see the laser shows but I have three different drinking events to attend down south today so no chance.

Can someone get a bit of it on video by any chance please?

basically you will watch a film of this mediocre band from PBF

As an aside to this thread (that looks like it's running out of steam like the Prom entertainment!) I agree with this. I went to see BDS with an open mind and I'm afraid all I saw was a one man show and a pretty repetitive show at that. If they're going to play concerts rather than just record, they should get a drummer and bass player who look slightly interested in what they're doing, learn to break up the relentless fast guitar work every now and then and get themselves someone who can push the guitarist out of the spotlight every now and then - everyone's a music critic, aren't they?:)

From the looks of it Slinky I was only a few feet away from you, a near MF spot then.

What happened the the kid's show? Even though it was too light at 10 for the lasers to be seen, but surely they knew that from their experience, erm, yesterday?

From wot I heard on their PMR sets it was amazing that the whole thing happened at all.

The Chuckle Brothers spring to mind.

An offshore breeze in the evening seemed to have foxed 'em ... they were not local (or other island) folk then.
