copycat
Island beachcombers may soon be out and about in force in anticipation of finding one of 30,000 well traveled plastic bath ducks. There is a $100 reward on offer for finding one, and possibly even more if you find one and put it on e-bay. Apparently the duck's started swimming mid-Pacific 15 years ago after being released from a container washed off a ship traveling from China to the US. The world's tidal currents across the oceans now mean that some of the ducks could now be being washed up on the Island's beaches - would Castletown, Fleshwick and Niarbyl beaches be the most likely? http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article1996553.ece
