copycat
I kid you not - this weeks edition they have announced a new poll to run over a number of weeks and put up this week 'photos of Tony Brown, Phil Gawne, Martyn Quayle, Graham Gregeen, Juan Watterson and Quentin Gill - other's to follow in the coming weeks. IMO clearly they can't have anything better to fill the paper with.

copycat
What's an idot? Do you mean idol (as in Pop Idol) or idiot (as in copycat)? OMG surely you don't believe the IOM Examiner is really doing a poll asking readers to vote MHK's as Idols? No it must surely be a typo. Maybe Johnson Press is worried IOM Govt is about to place all of its advertising with the Manx Herald or the publishers of the new Manx Gazette (being the IOM's equivalent to the London Gazette or sometimes known as the Official List)? "Idol (idle) MHK" would have been a better call. Vote for the most inactive member of tynwald since last November.

copycat
wonders why MLC aren't included - then again they do even less than MHK's and they aren't properly elected anyway.

Last Ten
Look I think this is a bit of a touchy subject (for Amadeus) after all he could have been one of them idols You would have got my vote Amadeus, but you just didn't get enough votes on election day to get to being an MHK idol today. Next time maybe.... Last Ten

Last Ten
It would actually have been better for the newspaper to hold "MLC Idol" it might be the only public vote they ever get Fantastic Last
