copycat
Government PR is lacking when it comes to the inclusion of the Isle of Man in the publication today of the Legatum Global Propsperity Index which takes into account as well as personal wealth, indicators of life satisfaction, including freedom of choice, healthcare and a country's climate. The details are reported here in to-days Gruniad http://money.guardian.co.uk/news_/story/0,...ed=networkfront If your trying to make your mind up where to go and live then if you don't even see the IOM listed then your not even going to consider it - so much for attracting the super wealthy and Freedom to Flourish obviously counts for nothing. mojomonkey
As much as I personally love this Island if I had mega-bucks and the choice to live anywhere I think I'd choose somewhere else.

Did this organisation consider the IOM? I wouldn't think it scores very well for healthcare, childcare and social equality etc compared to Scandinavian countries. There doesn't appear to be any small countries in the list, so I'm guessing they had some sort of population cap for inclusion. Dont really think its fair to slag our government about our exclusion when Jersey, Guernsey etc aren't there either.
