Many countries in Europe seem to send their children visit the war graves, battle sites and martyr villages in France. Do island schoolchildren ever get to visit? A young member of my family has placed a wreath on war memorials at Castletown and Arbory onbehalf of Brownies, Church and Guides over the years and still doesnt know/care what its all aboutexcept there was war, once upon a time.
