copycat
Following the announcement that there are to be 6,000 new houses built on the IOM it looks likely that there will be a sudden influx of Irish builders at the end of August as firms in Ireland are expected to start laying staff off due to a down-turn in Irish building activity. Article:- Builders to layoff workers after holiday Monday, July 16 06:35:42 (BizWorld) Irish builders intend to lay off thousands of staff after the traditional August holiday, trade union BATU has claimed. Almost 280,000 people work in the Irish building sector but over staffing and the downturn in the house building sector will see this number decline over the rest of this year and into next, the union said. BATU's Denis Farrell said that bricklayers and general operatives will be worst hit. He said that employers have been letting people go since the latter part of last year but that the end of the traditional two-week August holiday will see a marked acceleration in the trend
mojomonkey
I've already told you, the plan period runs till 2016. The 6,000 houses aren't all going get to built this year. Please stop acting like a reactionary muppet by inventing stories.
