Chinahand
There's a part of me that feels a bit outraged at the commercialization of one of the UK's most ancient heritage sites. But its only a small part - the rest of me things there is something quite deliciously ironic about the whole thing! I also find it very amusing that the New Age Pagans aren't happy - ah what a pity! If you "believe" in their sort of mush be prepared for a wet August!
Mission
Heh - amusing (ish) he'd have made a better crop circle though - at least he'd have been the right colour more or less. What ever next - donkey from shrek next to the white horse?

matty
CH - it is a Sun story though .... Anyone have any ideas for something alongside a local site?? I do remember the Gov. having a dim view about FSFO being done in weedkiller near Tynwald Hill a few years back (I thought was very amusing at the time). Alias
Sometimes you see writing in the fields from selective sowing of spare seed.. I remember seeing 'Fin' in one of the fields on a hill a few years back (someone called Ffinlo I guess). Grows out in a week or two.
