thebees
The quality of the biscuits? It says something about making contacts, perhaps this was like their 'first date' so they exchanged pleasantries, saving serious matters of state between the UK Ireland and the Isle of (Very important) Man, until another summit meeting. Oh the drudgery....Politicians aren't what they used to be.
bluemonday
A great success, obviously the menu and accomodation was up to scratch. Just another taxpayer funded waste of time.

Night Shift
well if you ask me we should have kept quiet because when you think about it the English aren't going to be all that happy about the people who invest millions of pounds over here so they can go skiing each year and send there kids to posh schools too. Well the chancelor is going to say "hey, I know the Isle of Man now, thanks for reminding me I was goeing to do something about that one day" Unless as someone already said he is part of it because you never know do you

Source : http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/rss/-/1/hi/world/...man/6904367.stm How does Tony Brown measure the 'success' of this summit? What was on the agenda? What did they decide to do about anything? Or does he just mean he managed to get into the photos and grin?
copycat
surely it was a success merely because he was there.
