Hermes
I was at the Southern show this weekend and was both amused and disturbed to see that one of the attractions for children to play on was a giant inflatable pub covered in mock-ups of bottles of wine, beer and spirits. Given the increasing local social and health problems caused by more children drinking alcohol at younger and younger ages I am surprised that something such as this is considered appropriate for a family event. It's up to responsible event organisers and parish commisioners etc to say a polite 'no' to the people trying to ply this business at public events. The only place it should ever be is in the garden of a family pub.
mojomonkey
Have you ever tried drinking a pint whilst on a bouncy castle, its actually the perfect anti-drinking tool.
Minxie
When children are at the age where they want to play on bouncy castles, I don't think they actually pay attention to what it is decorated with, it's just something to jump up and down on. I don't think that playing on an inflatable pub at the age of 4 or 5 is going to encourage them into binge drinking 10 years later.
grant
Perhaps, when I was 4 years old, I bounced in a giant inflatable glass of guiness!
