How do you feel about

 

1. Your name age and address being available for sale publicly Wouldn't be happy about it if no opt out

 

2. Did you know you can opt out of that, how many of you have Yes, no because not currently on list

 

3. Did you appreciate that not being on the electoral list can damage your credit rating Yes, but unlikely to apply for credit in the foreseeable future

 

4. Should it be the responsibility of individuals or heads of households Individuals

 

5. What should cut off date be, should it be nomination day Yes

 

6. Is 4 weeks long enough between nomination day and election day to deal with postal votes, takes 5 days minimum to get ballot papers printed. Yes

 

7. Should we all be able to vote by post. What about electronically? Yes, but have concerns about fraud e.g. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.p...toryId=12487029

 

8. As it has been raised what feelings about a none of the above box on the ballot paper and what consequence if none of the above won. ie one less MHK for that constituency for next 5 years? or what? Would like "none of the above box", feel it very unlikely that someone would not win the seat

YOU OULD USE YOUR SHOPRITE CARD TO REGISTER THE VOTE AT THE CHECKOUT - JOKING. AN INDIVIDUAL ID CARD AND PIN SYSTEM WOULD ALLOW ONLINE VOTING TO TAKE PLACE.

WHY NOT - ALTERNATIVELY GO BACK TO STV SO AT LEAST YOUR KNOW THAT THOSE ELECTED HAVE ACHIEVED THE HIGHEST PROPORTION OF VOTES CAST.

 

9. HAVE YOU FILLED IN THE FORM THIS YEAR IN LAST 6 WEEKS? IF NOT WHY NOT? TWICE ONCE AT HOME AND ONCE BLANK FOR A BUSINESS PREMISES - DO PEOPLE REALLY SLEEP IN SHOPS AND OFFICES???
