Hermes
From what I see, some young people are very sporty and deicated to the active lifestyle. Why else would they wear tracksuits and take so much exercise by walking the parishes on a Friday night? They support their local communities, and can often be found gathered in groups demonstrating against the evils of alcohol by waving bottles of booze at passers-by to remind us all of the risks of this terrible scourge. Gladys
Bollocks to 'nothing to do'over here, there is plenty to do. This is more to do with how they have been fbrought up and the sense of social responsibility that has been instilled in them. I would buy the 'nothing to do' argument if it was a case of a group of teenagers being raucous somewhere, the exuberance of youth just being unchannelled, but that needn't develop into minless vandalism. Yet again, this is an example of people not taking responsibility for their own acts whether it is, directly, the teenagers themselves or their parents for the way they have dragged them up. sarahc
Hanging around with your mates is an important part of growing up. It doesn't automatically lead to law breaking. These people have only themselves to blame.
