nipper
There was a good interview on Manx Radio Mandate this morning. Quintin Gill has gone up in my estimation.
Max Power
There was a good interview on Manx Radio Mandate this morning. Quintin Gill has gone up in my estimation. Absolutely, get involved! Why do you think that others do? Because above all it's fun but also a responsibility and a good way of meeting other enthiusiasts. The training could also be useful in everyday life. Gladys
Do you have to be a bike rider to marshall?
grant
Definately not, are you thinking of signing up then, I am since they now want people, even if just for 1 or 2 sessions! You can virtually pick your spot as well, I believe. Paging Rhumsaa......he is or was one. (you've got a bike anyway Gladys)
Gladys
Yes, not for MGP, too late to arrange work etc. but defo for TT next year. The thought behind the question is whether you need a bike to get to the marshalling point, or will they accept a car?
grant
No, you don't need a bike, it just makes it easier parking etc, I aim to do it at the Creg, so parking would be a nightmare there in a car, unless you went mid-afternoon. When you pick your spot where you marshall, bear in mind the parking/access. There's plenty of spots where car parking wouldn't be a problem. Besides, most of the bikes head off pronto after the practice/race.
