Tempus Fugit
Looks like Seacat Emeraude France has finished its charter, presently tootling about in the Mersey, with AIS showing destination London, ETA Sept 7 at 10.00 at least it doesn't seem to belch as much soot now as it did when it arrived ! The Old Git
Looks like Seacat Emeraude France has finished its charter That's a pity, I thought the Emeraude was better than the other Seacat that had the collision in the Mersey
TerryMcCann
What is happening with the other Seacat incidentally? The Steam Packet have been very quiet about it
Tempus Fugit
Looks like Seacat Emeraude France has finished its charter That's a pity, I thought the Emeraude was better than the other Seacat that had the collision in the Mersey they don't seem to suffer the blockages in the intakes like SSC2 does, that can give ou a bit of a shake-up until they wind it down, I had wondered why it only did 20kt on some trips until it swallowed something one day we were on it and it was as if a wheel had fallen off the trolly, and we had to wait until calmer waters to go asten and spit the rubbish out again ! The Old Git
I don't know anything technical about it, only that the Blue Riband lounge and service was a lot better
Tempus Fugit
spotted this today, Sea Espress 1 is no more, has moved from the dry dock into Birkenhead docks, and has a new name - SNAEFELL ! (still MWKD7 callsign though)
Mission
I think they've mis-spelt that, it should read SNAFU
Pat Ayres
I don't care what it's called, at least they seem to have spelt it correctly, unlike the panoramic view on the Ben's outer deck. I still have to travel first class because I can see if it's about to hit anything like it did earlier this year.
Tempus Fugit
Snaefell just exiting the Birkenhead docks ! reported to be heading across later after refuelling ( p.s. - looking out the bay it's a bit foggy )
monasqueen
At her current speed, she won't make it over here tonight! Looks like she might just be out on sea trials today - must need to be able to prove she can be trusted at sea before being released to start service? Pat Ayres
Although I was in the crash it's not the boat I worry about, it's the feckin idiot driving it. Does he still work there?

TerryMcCann
It is in Douglas Bay right now. Made it all the way over without sinking or anything. Looks rather spiffing in it's new livery
Lonan3
It should have arrived to the sound of Johnny Nash belting out 'I can see clearly now!'
