thesultanofsheight Posted September 6, 2007 Share Posted September 6, 2007 I note that on the MR report it says: "The Justice for Pensioners logo, highlighting the fact the organisation's members don't receive the Isle of Man Pension Supplement, which increases the State Pension by 50%". I like the way the MR report indicates that they have the money to take this to court, when they don't seem to have the money to cough up the recommended £20 per week to make up the difference. They have been offered a fair deal - the cost of providing the supplement without the contribution was put at £14m. What government body is going to stump up for that when budgets are already tight.
