Addie
I am so very sorry to hear of the death of Norman Sayle. He was a lovely man and a generous, patient guiding light to all those who were fortunate enough to be taught by him. He was also an extremely talented artist and a great inspiration. Thanks Norman. Warm thoughts to all his family.

Fossils
Norman was a brilliant watercolourist and a superb human being. He will be sadly missed by all who were ever fortunate enough to spend time in his company. He is up there amongst the greatest Manxmen.
Manxman In Exile
Ach, that's sad. RIP Norman. A truly great artist and a fine Manxman. Thoughts and best wishes to his family and friends. It is sad - I was at school with one of his boys in the early 70's. I was too - they only had one boy though, Adrian, who tragically died in 2002. RIP Norman, and condolances to Mrs. Sayle.
