Mission
Mindless fuckwits would be a more apt description of these bottomfeeders. It seems to be the national sport in Ramsey of a weekend.
Albert Tatlock
Surely there is a charitable glazier on the island who could do it for free/cost price - and get a bit of free publicity helping a worthy cause?
Foxtrotlima
Mish, it isn't even just a weekend sport anymore. The little Co-Op where I work got broken into early hours of Wednesday morning. They didn't break the glass (oh no, that would have been too easy to repair), they used a bloody crowbar to force the door open.
Mission
Crow-barred the door - nice. Hope the CCTV got em.
Lonan3
Set the bastards adrift on a leaky boat. Allow them one text message to the RNLI. Reply saying: "Sorry, we're unable to deal with your situation due to vandalism.

keyboarder
I would have expected the bulk of the cost to be covered by insurance.
Foxtrotlima
You are absolutely right keyboarder, the bulk of it is covered by insurance. The problem is (as it is with most insurance claims) the excess that is going to have to be found. The RNLI shop makes no profit at all and although the charity raises millions annually, the funding for the shops is actually separate.
keyboarder
If by profit you mean money for the cause's coffers then maybe it should close. It seems rather pointless keeping it open to break even or lose money. Unfortunate though the act of vandalism is, it can hardly be blamed for closure of the shop? Foxtrotlima
Sorry keyboarder, reading back over my previous post I can see what you thought I meant. The shop does raise money for the RNLI coffers, when I said profit I was meaning funds that could be released for re-furbishment and the suchlike for that actual shop.
