A survey of the condition of privately owned houses and flats on the Isle of Man is to be launched next month.

This smacks of "nosey bastard" disease to me.

If you've not asked for a grant why should you be expected to let them in? Surely they should be doing this only to applicants who have actually applied for some sort of financial assistance rather than just anyone?

I got one of these in the post today. I can scan and post up if anyone actually wants to see the letter they sent out.

I'd be interested to know what my position is if I turn them away from the door. I have no intention of letting them poke their beaks around my house.

Lock them in and go to the pub.

I recieved one of these letters today so i rang a Colin Magee and asked him to take my name of the list which he did.A specialist company called David Adamson and partners has been contracted to do the survey, what a waste of money, typical bean counter in government exercise.
