Animal Waste

Apparently they are opening a new 'facility' costing millions of pounds for treating animal waste at the incinerator site on Richmond Hill.

I thought they had already built a secondary incinerator for millions of pounds to burn animal and clinical waste.

What is going on?

Is SITA going to run this new facility?

Isn't this just the relocation of the Litts processing plant from Baldwin?

yep, well i usually visit the one in baldwin and soon I will have to visit the new one cus the old one is shutting down.

Good cus it bloody stinks i the summer.

Good-somebody who knows what happens.

Can you explain what will go to the secondary incinerator and what will go to the new facility that replaces LITTs?

I attended the original public enquiry into the incinerator proposal in1990

It was held at the Hailwood centre and we were told by the government consultants (Acer) that the single facility would deal with clinical, animal as wall as general waste

Bloody liars

So now what exactly will go to the secondary incinerator and what will go to the treatment centre?

And why do we need both?
