WTF
Airport bosses say it would allow them to offer a discrete, high quality and efficient service ... So are we common clods going to suffer an indiscrete, low quality and inefficient service then? We already do. agreed.
Gladys
Who do we complain to about the standard of service in the departure lounge. The few times I have used it the service is gruff, to the point of rudeness, and slow. Surely a few complaints to the management would make them review this particular area? Langweilig
Let's face it: It's not a proper airport unless Abramovich can land his A380 there in the future, so: Sorry castletown, gotta make space for massive runway extension and new terminal - all for the good of the island, of course. All residents of castletown will be reloacted to Ramsey - please look out for yellow leaflets informing you of citizen collection day, when you will be moved. Thank you. Now feel free to flourish. Ramsey? Nah, too good for 'em. Relocate them to Port Soderick and maybe they'll all die of boredom
Frances
isn't Port Soderick earmarked as the next Dandara appartment complex ? - could even advertise in the London press easy access to rail station!
cheeky boy
isn't Port Soderick earmarked as the next Dandara appartment complex ? - could even advertise in the London press easy access to rail station! Apparently the owners of the site do not want to build while the public footpath runs in front of the site Such a shame, Port Soderick would really benefit from another half empty luxury apartment block Went to a rave there once in the old arcade at the bottom, I think it was in winter Things were going swimmingly until "Bubbles" built a fire to keep everyone warm Unfortunately he got carried away and put car tyres on it and filled the place with toxic smoke
Saltire
I arrived in Ronaldsway for the TT this year, to find when walking from the plane to the terminal, there were various workmen building a covered walkway around the passengers! When the VIPs arrive do you think their terminal will still be being constructed around them? P.S. The covered walkway wasn't really needed, it was a beautiful sunny day. Pat Ayres
You'll have a covered walkway and be grateful, like it or not. This is the isle of man and we say you will be cosseted. (you are rich aren't you?) If the toffs want a private facility, crack on, at least the bombers will know what to target and leave us plebs alone. Let's face it, it will take years to build, by which time the motrgage market will go into meltdown and and all the "dollar billionaires" will sod off back to where they came from. Another white elephant, only this time we won't be paying for it.
