Sidney Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 I have just installed the Truphone application on my N95 and I am wondering if anyone else has tried it. It's basically a VOIP application similar to Skype which gives me free calls from my mobile whenever I am in range of a wireless hotspot, so it logs onto my router when I am in the flat and gives me free calls to landlines. After reading everything on their site I cannot find the catch but I am sure there must be one. Does anybody have any experience with this company or this type of technology? *daniel* Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 Doesn't seem like a catch. The only problem is if your out there isn't many hotspots. I think quite a few people on here use voip. I use it for free calls to ireland after being basically mugged for the call rate there Also it says on the site that the free calls is only until the 31st of december.
