KMC
The Isle of Man's centenary TT festival is estimated to have contributed about £48m to the island's economy. Source : http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/rss/-/1/hi/world/...man/7064579.stm The TT, in its centenary year, put nearly £50 million into the economy. Figures, just published by the Government, set the average spend for the 60,000 visitors at £800 a head. The good news for next year is that bookings are up 35 per cent for this time of year. Thats not bad going However, it will be interesting to see the figures after 2008, and if the per head spend is the same for a normal year ?
