chucklez Posted October 27, 2007 Share Posted October 27, 2007 back in march 1968. the last evening of radio caroline north before the boat was taken to holland the final hour of programming was a country and wqestern programme with the late don allen as dj i know a recording exists of that hour, but i'm dammed if i can find it the very last song was jim reeves " god be with you till we meet again" it's possible someone there might have it, or it might be available there easier than here. i don't know the actual date of the programme was 2nd march, 1968, from 9pm till 10pm. the programme was called " don allen's country and western jamboree" i think the frequency was259 metres. not sure what that is in khz the boat was anchored off ramsey bay <<< can some one possibly help me please many thanks!
