Frances
I guess a noodle bar is a jumped up noodle stall - in Tokyo after you had been out for a beautifully presented + extremely expensive but somewhat insubtantial meal (by western standards) you would go to one of the ubiquitous noodle stalls for a very cheap but substantial dollop of carbohydrate (you knew you had some possibility of semi-acceptance when you could get them from the bowl to the mouth using chopsticks and without spilling them down your clothes - speed was of the essence here - real fast food)
TerryMcCann
Great idea for a business. Just need to have the 'kitchen' hidden from the public counter so you can pop out the back to make a Pot Noodle and pour the contents into a nice Japanese style bowl and charge you £6.99 for it. £8.99 for Supernoodles as they have to be done in a pan

Lonan3
There was a noodle-stall thingy outside the Imperial Dragon on the Queen's Prom during TT fortnight. The customers seemed to approve of it.
