Amadeus
who left the lobster pots out there ? I think them thingies are either meant to be: a: art, but they look too cheap to qualify as art, unless some artist charged £30k for them b: some sort of seating, which is odd as it's in between pubs and not close to them c: another accident waiting to happen when the lights underneath inevitably get smashed/fail/blow out and drunks will fall over them on the way home from the Railway/British Take your pick... Why didn't they just get rid of motorised traffic altogether? Because there's still loads of traffic going through there and the only other possible route for rush hour and Tesco traffic happens to have a swing bridge in the way, maybe? Still like the blue light thingies, though - and they're still working!
nipper
Is the seat that is out of line meant to be artisticly placed or is it an accident waiting to happen? I nearly fell over it last Friday evening on the way for my Friday night gallon.

Indeed - so it's pavement cafe/bar society Isle of Man Petroholic Style? There's a surprise.
