As far as I can tell there were no Peel residents quoted saying 'I am outraged', rather they opened the story for comments and waited for the people of Peel to make their feelings known. Weird. Spartacus Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 Peel gossip is gospel. Last week I heard that planning had been granted for a tunnel to be built linking Whitehaven with Groudle. It will not be a road tunnel, but will instead use a funicular railway system and will be powered by seaweed. Also, a major government project will be finished on budget and ahead of schedule; an all island speed limit is to be introduced after all. It will be 120 mph.
