Been for something good to eat and a few beers ? Wondering where to go after midnight ? If you want to ruin a perfectly good evening then its got to be Paramount or Colours. Two equally horrible dives full of nuisances. When visiting the island last year, me and a mate went to Colours. The pints were flat, the change to bottled beer was no better, as it was warm. Is that why you have to pay to get in? To pay for the special fridges that heat the drinks? I quite liked Havana (only been there twice I think though!) Been to Outback once about 3years ago think during TT. From what I remember it was okay too. Must be age, but prefer pubs now, preferably ones that you don't pay to get in just to get trampled trying to get to the bar! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Spartacus Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 Yup I seem to remember that being in Colours was as much fun as - to quote 3MF - walking on Lego bricks in bare feet I was ill after drinking a bottled beer from there. As Saltire says, warm, and flat. The beer, not just the atmosphere. Actually, why bother re-doing the place? I't's being flattened soon anyway I believe..
