Now I know that the reduction of delivery times is not down to the Posties themselves, but their bosses. What is down to the individual posties is this apparent urge to wonder our fair Isle scattering elastice bands here, there and everywhere. In our old house there was a big gap in the hedge where the postie (I assume as never actually caught him/her) used to just barge through from when it was first planted.
