Amadeus
Tada! A Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, with 6.0L V8 engine - oh, and it's a Hybrid, too, with 30% better fuel efficiency than the standard model. Does 21mpg - and I'm not kidding: clickey God bless America

TerryMcCann
Pffffffft. My RX8 does 25mpg if I don't press the accelerator. Surely I should get some recognition for my environmental awareness

Amadeus
Oh, come on - making a car with an 6.0l V8 "Green Car of the Year" is funny - Hybrid in it or not... Actually tried this thingy a while ago: Lexus RX400h - also big & Hybrid, but "only" a 3.3 V6 under the bonnet and loads of nifty electronics stuff. Hybrids are freaky - turn the key and nothing happens, yet it's already running and you drive away in silence. As long as you don't floor it over the mountain but mainly use it for the daily commute and stop'n-go shootout, it even makes some sense fuel and environment-wise, as it's mainly running on electric then. That Chrysler in comparison probably kills half a rainforest and 15 cute fluffy bunnies just by starting the engine - not that I like cute fluffy bunnies or something...
