Lonan3
The Mayor of Douglas, Councillor Colin Cain, will flick the switch outside the town hall in Ridgeway Street on Thursday evening. The cast of Jack and the Beanstalk from the Gaiety Theatre are set to entertain revellers and there will also be carol singing led by the Douglas Town Band. Sounds more effective than the mosquito-thingy in Noble's Park!

Amadeus
They did offer me a big wooden chair to sit in while some dude flicks a really big switch right next to it. Didn't like the look of that, so said no..
