Most commentators would agree that he wasn't particularly good on a motorbike, but he was a world-class showman. Bit like Freddie Mercury wasn't the world's best singer. At least he got to rest in peace, when many of us always expected to see him rest in pieces after some of those dodgy stunts. 2xcellent showman.
