TerryMcCann
C'mon Newsbot surely 'Labrador Enquiry: Police Have New Lead' is a better headline
slinkydevil
A £2,500 reward for information leading to the dog's killer is being offered Excuse me but didn't Energy and a consortium of other businessess raise £10,000 in donations last year? Why is only £2,500 being dished out? Now just hang on a minute! It's not in the news as much now, so isn't making good PR and there are company parties to be had this time of year. More mince pies? Alias
They didn't 'raise', they pledged. It's the same with most publicised disasters (though normally on a different scale), people pledge loads while the hype's up and then a lot don't bother to donate when the money is needed/requested.
