Mr. Sausages Posted December 11, 2007 Share Posted December 11, 2007 Is there anywhere on the Island that can repair CDJ 1000s? Mine won't play in Vinyl mode. It sounds like it might be a malfunctioning platter switch, according to this thread which describes a similar problem - the touch sensitive part on top seems to be constantly pressed. I've got Stuey as a witness as well. Also, you said it was a faulty switch that has happened to others. I took the best care of them I could, I stayed sober and made sure they weren't bashed around in any way. What else could I have done? Now I feel bad. Wheres that noose gone?
