WilDDog
Hi all, I've been out of gaming for about 3 years and was just looking for a bit of advice. I was thinking about getting hold of a copy of wow and I need to know what sort of spec pc I'll need to play it. The Pc I intend to use is a bit dated now, specs below. 2gh Athlon 64 2 gig of ram Crappy Graphics card, my good one blew up. 70 gig HD with about 9 gig free I need to clean it up 250 gig HD with 100 gig free. Any advice would be appreciated Thanks
ans
WoW is pretty low spec on requirements. Also, kiss goodbye to your life
Slim
It'll run fine on that, but to be honest, it's like smoking. You're far better off not starting, then you don't have to make the effort to stop.
joeyconcrete
I agree. After a couple of months, I too discovered there were more constructive things to do with my time than spending hours collecting medium leather and heavy stones. WilDDog
Heh, thanks for the replies fellas, it can't be that addictive. Anyway I was in the process of buying Battlechest on Play.com for £17.99 and at the last minute when I was purchasing it, the dreaded message appeared "you must have a UK address for us to ship this item" erm wtf? Ah well time to start thinking of a player nickname

Shill
WoW can be played without being addicted. However once you start taking the game seriously there is no going back. A bit like Drugs really

robbyiom
Anyone still play or have you all packed it in? I have just started playing, took the 10 day trial over Christmas and bought the full game before the trial finished so that I didn't miss out on playing! it can't be that addictive. I've only been playing for a few weeks and am already addicted! I joined the Runetotem server because I was told there were lots of Manxies on there, but as of yet haven't spoken to a single one.
